Your session. Your information.
Next Round Padel is an adult-only organiser with no account required. Most session information stays in your browser. Sharing is optional; this notice explains what changes when you choose it.
Updated October 2026 · Operated by Third Place Advisory, United Kingdom
Who is responsible?
Third Place Advisory, a UK operator, runs Next Round Padel and is responsible for the personal information processed to operate this service. For privacy questions, rights requests or complaints, email joe@thirdplaceadvisory.com.
An organiser who enters other players’ information is responsible for doing so fairly, explaining the intended sharing and telling those players about this notice. Clubs and other organisations may also have their own data-protection responsibilities.
For adults aged 18 and over
The organiser and viewer pages are intended for adults aged 18 or over. Organisers must only enter adult players. Please use a first name, initial or nickname that identifies the player within your group; do not enter dates of birth, contact details, health information or other sensitive information in player or session names.
The app asks for an adult declaration and remembers “yes” for the current browser tab. It does not ask for a date of birth or identity document. This declaration is not an identity check. If you believe a child’s information has been entered, contact us so we can investigate and arrange removal where it is within our control.
What information is used?
- Session information: the organiser enters player labels, a session name, format and match settings. The app creates fixtures, scores, standings, timestamps and timer state.
- Optional live-sharing information: when the live service is available and sharing is enabled, a copy of the session is uploaded with a random session identifier and information needed to authorise updates. If another organiser added you, that organiser is the source of your player information.
- Technical information: Wix and its service providers may process IP addresses, browser/device details and request or security logs when delivering the website and API.
- Messages you send us: your email address, the contents of your request and the information needed to respond.
We do not ask players to create an account or provide payment details. The tournament code does not add advertising trackers or its own analytics. See Cookies & storage for browser storage and Wix platform information.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
We rely on legitimate interests to provide the session organiser and optional sharing that people request, keep the service secure, prevent unauthorised edits and answer service enquiries. Those interests are providing a useful adult sports tool and protecting the service and its users. We limit the information involved through nicknames, local saving, optional uploading and read-only viewer access.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests; we will consider your circumstances and whether there is a valid reason to continue. We rely on legal obligation where processing is necessary to meet a legal requirement, such as handling an applicable data-protection request.
Entering information or choosing to share does not give us permission to sell it or use it for unrelated marketing. Draws and tables are calculated from the chosen tournament rules; we do not use them to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on players.
Who can see shared information?
A live viewer link or QR code can be opened by anyone who has it, without signing in. Recipients can forward it or save what they see. Only the organiser’s editing key authorises updates. Keep that key private; it is not included in viewer links or downloaded backups.
A fixed snapshot contains session information in the link itself and does not update. Stopping live sharing does not recall a snapshot, screenshot, exported backup, CSV or results image. The app creates exports on your device; files you send through WhatsApp, Instagram, email or another service are then handled by that recipient or service.
Wix supplies hosting and, when enabled, the live service’s private database. Authorised site administrators and relevant service providers may access information for operation, support or security. We may disclose information where legally required or necessary to establish or defend legal claims.
Storage, expiry and deletion
Seven-day live access expiry is not a guaranteed seven-day deletion policy. The distinction matters if you choose to upload a session.
- On your device: saved sessions, active-session references, timers and live editing details remain in browser storage until removed or cleared by your browser. The adult declaration lasts for the current tab. Local-only sessions are not uploaded by the tournament app unless you enable live sharing. Use the app or browser controls to remove them; we cannot recall downloaded copies.
- Optional live service: viewer access expires seven days after the last successful organiser upload. Expired content may be cleared when the service next accesses it or through owner cleanup. There is no guaranteed scheduled purge; unvisited expired records may remain in the private database until that cleanup or a deletion request.
- Stopping live sharing: when the stop request succeeds, the service revokes the link and clears the stored player names, fixtures and scores from that record. A minimal revocation record remains to prevent reuse of the old editing key.
- Hosting logs and backups: these follow Wix’s separate service and retention arrangements and may outlast removal from the active session database.
- Support and complaint records: we retain the information needed to deal with the matter and any reasonable follow-up, legal or accountability requirement, rather than keeping unrelated session information.
To remove your local information, stop live sharing first if enabled, then delete the session in My sessions or clear this website’s data in your browser. Clearing local data alone does not remove a server copy and can remove the editing key needed to control it. Contact us if you need help removing uploaded information.
Wix and international processing
Wix processes site-visitor information on our behalf under its Data Processing Addendum. Wix and its providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the UK, including in Israel and the United States.
Wix describes the transfer arrangements it uses in that addendum, including applicable adequacy decisions and contractual safeguards. Its sub-processor list identifies service providers and locations. These documents describe the provider’s commitments; they are not a promise that all information remains in the UK. Contact us if you want further information about the arrangements relevant to your data.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your personal information, delete it, restrict its use or object to processing. Data portability applies where its legal conditions are met. We may need proportionate information to identify the session and confirm that the request is yours; please do not email an editing key or unnecessary identity documents.
Send requests to joe@thirdplaceadvisory.com. Include the session name/date or viewer link if you have it. We normally respond to rights requests within one calendar month, subject to the legal rules about identity checks, clarification and permitted extensions. If an extension applies, we will explain it.
You can use local-only sessions without enabling live sharing. Ask your organiser to use a nickname or to remove your label from shared results if you do not want it displayed.
Privacy complaints and changes
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, email us. You can use the subject Privacy complaint to help identify it, but any clear wording is fine. We will acknowledge the complaint within 30 days, investigate without undue delay and keep you informed. This acknowledgement period does not replace the separate deadline for a rights request.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data-protection regulator, and you retain any rights to seek a legal remedy.
We will update this notice when the service’s data practices change and show the revision date above. For material changes, we will provide a suitable notice before they take effect where required.
